How to use the CeraSlick Rinseless Runoff Method
CeraSlick Rinseless Car Wash: full step-by-step washing technique for Gloss and Matte finishes.
Correct dosing: 1 mL of concentrate per US gallon of water = 4 full strokes of a calibrated 0.25 mL pump, or 1 full 0.25 mL pump per 32 oz of water. For best results use RO or DI water. Prepare all sprayers, buckets and towels before washing. The optional dwell pre-spray is separate from panel-by-panel spray-to-runoff immediately before microfiber contact.
Rinseless Car Wash — Current Wash Method
Prepare sprayer and wash bucket before washing; no final hose rinse. For heavier soil, repeat touchless wet pre-spray to runoff until loose abrasive grit is removed; if grit remains, use a hose pre-rinse before any contact.
- 1. Prepare the sprayer, wash bucket, and towels before washing. Mix the pump/garden sprayer and the separate contact bucket at 1 mL per gallon (4 × 0.25 mL pumps per gallon). For a 32 oz sprayer, use 1 pump. A typical medium-soil wash may require 1.5–2 gallons of pre-spray and 2–3 gallons of bucket solution. Set out separate clean wash, solution-dampened second-contact, and dry towels.
- 2. Optional garden-hose pre-rinse. For substantial loose sand, mud or grit, rinse away abrasive deposits before starting contact. A preliminary hose pre-rinse is compatible with the Rinseless method; there is no final hose rinse.
- 3. Optional bird-dropping and spot treatment. Saturate bonded spots with diluted Rinseless solution and let them soften without scrubbing.
- 4. Dwell pre-spray for soiled areas. Pre-soak dirtier panels using diluted Rinseless solution. Allow approximately 30–60 seconds of wet dwell as needed, re-wetting to prevent drying. This is separate from panel-by-panel spray-to-runoff.
- 5. Panel-by-panel spray-to-runoff. Just before washing each panel, refresh the diluted spray until loose dirt visibly runs off. Keep the working section wet.
- 6. First contact — dripping-wet microfiber. Use clean folded microfiber fully saturated in diluted bucket solution and do not wring before contact. Use slow, straight passes with light pressure, vertical on side panels. Rotate clean faces; for moderate/heavy soil use multiple fresh towels and never return grit-contaminated towels to the clean bucket.
- 7. Second contact — diluted-Rinseless-dampened towel. Use a different clean towel dampened with the same diluted Rinseless solution and wrung to damp. Make a gentle verification and leveling pass to ensure soil and excess solution are removed.
- 8. Final dry — separate completely dry microfiber. Immediately follow with a third, clean and completely dry microfiber towel, before remaining solution dries. No final hose rinse.

Finishing towels: For Waterless and Rinseless, the second contact is made with a different clean microfiber dampened with the corresponding diluted wash solution; follow immediately with a separate completely dry microfiber. Polymer Wash uses a separate plain-water-dampened towel after the hose final rinse, then a dry towel. Select Gloss or Matte for the finish being washed; do not try to create shine on matte finishes.
Work on cool panels, keep solution wet, use multiple fresh towel faces, remove grit before contact and never scrub stubborn deposits. No contact wash guarantees zero marring.
