How to use MilliWash Waterless Wash & Wax Spray

Spray to runoff, contact wash with a dripping-wet microfiber, level with a clean wrung-out towel moistened with diluted Waterless solution, and always finish with a separate dry buff.

Correct dosing: 1 mL of concentrate per US gallon of water = 4 full strokes of a calibrated 0.25 mL pump, or 1 full 0.25 mL pump per 32 oz of water. For best results use RO or DI water. Prepare all sprayers, buckets and towels before washing. The optional dwell pre-spray is separate from panel-by-panel spray-to-runoff immediately before microfiber contact.

Waterless Wash & Wax — Current Wash Method

Sprayer only, no wash bucket or final hose rinse. Best for lightly soiled paint.

  1. 1. Prepare the sprayer and towels before washing. Mix diluted Waterless solution at 1 mL per gallon (4 × 0.25 mL pumps), or 1 pump per 32 oz. No bucket or garden hose is needed for light soil. Set aside three separate clean microfiber towels: a first-contact wash towel, a second-contact towel dampened with diluted Waterless solution, and a completely dry finishing towel.
  2. 2. Optional bird-dropping and spot treatment. Wet stubborn spots with diluted solution and allow deposits to soften. Do not scrub. For heavy mud or sand, choose Rinseless or Polymer Wash with appropriate pre-cleaning instead.
  3. 3. Dwell pre-spray for soiled areas. On dirtier sections, pre-soak using diluted Waterless solution and allow a brief wet dwell. Keep the area wet. This is separate from the later panel-by-panel spray.
  4. 4. Panel-by-panel spray-to-runoff. Immediately before towel contact, spray the current panel until it is fully wet and loose dirt is visibly carried off in flowing runoff. Do not make contact while loose grit remains.
  5. 5. First contact — dripping-wet microfiber. Spray a clean folded microfiber with diluted Waterless solution until dripping wet. Glide over the panel with minimal pressure in straight vertical passes on side panels. Rotate to a clean towel face after each pass and overlap adjacent passes by about 15% to avoid missed strips. Retire visibly soiled towels.
  6. 6. Second contact — diluted-Waterless-dampened microfiber. Use a different clean towel dampened with the same properly diluted solution and wrung until damp. Gently make a second pass to verify that no soil remains and to level/remove most remaining liquid.
  7. 7. Final dry — separate completely dry microfiber. Immediately follow with a third, clean, completely dry towel. Lightly collect the remaining droplets before the surface dries. No final hose rinse is required.

Finishing towels: For Waterless and Rinseless, the second contact is made with a different clean microfiber dampened with the corresponding diluted wash solution; follow immediately with a separate completely dry microfiber. Polymer Wash uses a separate plain-water-dampened towel after the hose final rinse, then a dry towel. Select Gloss or Matte for the finish being washed; do not try to create shine on matte finishes.

Work on cool panels, keep solution wet, use multiple fresh towel faces, remove grit before contact and never scrub stubborn deposits. No contact wash guarantees zero marring.
